Please direct them to feedback@crankdonut.com Product Origin The Crank DonutTM was developed out of a personal need to address casement window safety. It is impossible to open a standard casement window wide enough to allow ventilation, and at the same time maintain any level of security. There was no product on the market to solve this problem. After several months of summer heat and sleeping with closed windows, it became essential to develop a solution to this problem - both my wife's requirement for security and my need for fresh air could not be met at the same time (and I invariably lost). A Crank DonutTM has been in use in our household for over a year, and is used daily in the spring, summer, and fall. This is a picture of the first working prototype Crank DonutTM.
